not the great E3 2021 style event that many fans have been longing for, but a new State of Play will air today with an emphasis on Bethesda’s first-person shooter Deathloop. The title will be flanked by updates on “exciting” indie and third-party projects, but there will be no God of War Ragnarok or Horizon Forbidden West. You can see it from 2PM PST

The next event was probably expected to be the stand-in for E3. Kind of like when a big Direct was expected last year and it turned out to be something really small.
