The fourth-generation iPAD gets its share of retina display

It seems that today is the day of news at Apple, despite not having officially announced it, after the arrival of the 8 GB iPhone 5C, now it is the turn of a small renovation to the 4th generation iPad.

The refresh comes in the form of a Retina display, or retina display. The Retina screen name is a clever marketing maneuver created by Apple, experts in the field, to name screens with a resolution higher than normal. Initially it was thought that this denomination was reserved for models with more than 300 dots per inch, but in reality there is no specific standard and it is simply a commercial name.

In fact, in this case we are talking about a resolution of 2048×1536 within a screen 9.7 inchesso doing the corresponding calculations, its density of dots per inch remains at 264 dpi, a more than decent amount for a device with these characteristics.

For the rest, the same design and internal components are maintained. Its price is 379 Euros, available in black and white with an internal memory capacity of 16 GB.

Taking advantage of this “re-launch”, the company has removed all traces of the previous iPAD 2 from its online store.
