Starting next Tuesday, it is possible to play cross-play in Minecraft Dungeons via a free update.
That means that players can play the game together regardless of which system they play the game on. Earlier this year, Mojang announced the option, but it was still unclear when it would become available.
The game, based on the popular Minecraft franchise, was created by a small in-house team with a passion for dungeons in games. Players can walk alone or with three others through a variety of mines, swamps and other areas to kill enemies and collect loot. Minecraft Dungeons is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch. The new expansion, Howling Peaks, will be released in December.
