Microsoft Office is now compatible with Chromebooks

IN the latest Chrome OS updates, Google introduced the option to run Android apps directly on these laptops. However, not all the applications were available and it was up to the developers to adapt them to work on these PCs, which, in many cases, have their main asset in very low specifications and prices.

Microsoft released its Office suite for Android a long time ago and, in fact, some specific chromebooks could run it without problems, but it was not common and the vast majority of laptops with Chrome OS they had to resign themselves to using other office suites or pulling Google Docs.

Office can be downloaded via the app store AndroidGoogle Play compatible with Chrome OS, and adapts to the laptop-type interface of Chromebooks.

With this addition, there is no doubt that Chromebooks will gain in productivity and end one of the handicaps that was most criticized when compared to conventional laptops with desktop operating systems.
