Lara Croft’s castaway is shipwrecked again as the Tomb Raider washes away in EU PS Plus update

Poor Lara Croft can’t buy a break right now. The buxom British archaeologist has just managed to escape from the sinister island of Yamatai for the second time on the PlayStation 4, and now she’s about to find herself gasping for air again on the PlayStation 3. Sony has confirmed that the original version of the remake Tomb Raider from last year will be available as part of next week’s PlayStation Plus Europe March update, to be joined by a handful of other hits.

The lineup was already accurately leaked earlier in the month, but it won’t hurt to cover it up again. In addition to the aforementioned brand reboot, you’ll also be able to download free copies of Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition (PS4), Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS3), PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD (Vita), and Smart As (Vita). All five newcomers will be available starting March 5.

Store Update: March 22, 2016 (Europe)

On the same date are Outlast (PS4), Metro: Last Light (PS3), Guacamelee (PSN), Dynasty Warriors Next (Vita), and ModNation Racers: Road Trip (Vita), so be sure to download them now. As always, the Instant Game Collection update will be accompanied by a handful of discounts and savings throughout the month, to be announced closer to time. Are you happy with the new treats?
