Final Fantasy Designer’s Batman Character Almost Appears In A Game

More like the bat man, huh?

Remember the flashy Batman figure created by Final Fantasy character designer Tetsuya Nomura? Well, he almost showed up in a game. Since the project was cancelled, I can’t talk much about it.” One thing we do know is that it was in production before Kingdom Hearts, as the design partly inspired the armor worn by the Keyblade Wielders in the aforementioned franchise.

However, while Nomura’s portrayal of Batman never got his in-game appearance, the statue will go on sale at a later date. The legendary designer is also working on a second figurine, which is being teased by an enigmatic step game at a Comic-Con booth.
