September titles available through Xbox Live Games With Gold are now available to claim and download, a few days earlier than expected.
Players who are currently members of the paid portion of Xbox Live or who have the Ultimate Game Pass subscription can now download the newly announced titles for free. Additionally, these titles will be available after September to the players who claimed them as long as they remain Xbox Live Gold members.
The recently announced September Games With Gold titles include Warhammer: Chaosbane and Zone of the Enders HD Collection, being the first game for Xbox One and the second for Xbox 360 and compatible with previous versions. These games were originally intended to be available to Xbox Live Gold members on September 1, where they would continue to be available until the 15th. Therefore, since they can be claimed several days in advance, the window to pick up these two titles may have been extended for a few more days.

Players can also expect to see the arrival of two more titles in late September, as the Games with Gold program often switches between two sets of games throughout the month. Starting September 16, players should also be able to claim and download Mulaka and Samurai Showdown 2.
Other titles are also available in other regions of the world, such as A World of Keflings, which can be claimed for free to anyone logging in from South Africa.
This current roster of games has several players excited for the rest of the month, especially with the cult classic Zone of the Enders arriving in its updated form released from the Xbox 360 era. Some Warhammer: Chaosbane fans have also started to express their excitement for the opportunity to try the game again for free, or to see more players learn to appreciate the title now that it has become more accessible.
Either way, the overall response is good news for the future of Games With Gold, especially as the show continues to compete with similar giveaways on other systems and the success of the Xbox Game Pass subscription itself.
