Will there be a Final Fantasy XV game coming to Nintendo Switch?
The Nachtwacht reports live from a huge mug of German beer! With more Final Fantasy XV for your smartphone, but maybe also the Switch. Kirby, Metroid: Samus Returns, Bubsy, Shadow of War and Angela Merkel in Minecraft!
Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition announced for smartphones
Have you always wanted to play Final Fantasy XV but ended up opting for a fat phone instead of a PS4? Square Enix will have the solution soon as Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition has been announced. This is literally the same adventure, but with simpler gameplay, stylized graphics and in episodes. Is not that great? Well bad luck, you get it anyway !!!
All 10 episodes will be released simultaneously this fall for all Android and iOS systems. The first episode is immediately free so that we can all see this bizarre creation. To be honest, the Guard has already gotten used to the graphics. It is similar to the portable Final Fantasy remakes and spin-offs such as Bravely Default. So nothing wrong with that!
Is Final Fantasy XV coming to Switch?
The Mini-Me edition of Final Fantasy XV wasn’t the only news to come out of the Square Enix livestream. A giant hint was also given to an FFXV project for the Nintendo Switch! At least, the translators were talking about a console whose name resembles ‘Twitch’. After long, extensive research I conclude that the Nintendo Switch is the most suitable candidate. Or Sony is working on a Vita successor that will be called the PlayStation B***h or something.
Anyway, you can find the clip here where they hint at a Switch version of Final Fantasy XV.
Now the Nintendo Switch is fantastic but not so fantastic that it can match the graphics of the PS4 and Xbox One versions. Either the game is massively downgraded, or it is a port of the just-announced Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition. Or who knows! Maybe there will be a whole new adventure with Noctis, Mario and the Raving Rabbids. Everything is possible in 2017, watch Angela Merkel visiting Gamescom here.
Chancellor Angela Merkel visits Gamescom because why not
Gamescom received a high visitor yesterday and I am not talking about Florian. The boss of Germany, Chancellor Angela Merkel herself opened the game fair. And if you think that these are not weird photos, then you are not often enough on the internet!
Here’s a photo of Merkel playing Farming Simulator.
Here’s a photo of Merkel looking at a Minecraft version of Merkel.
Here a photo of Angela Merkel and her new cabinet. Haha just kidding! Sackboy is no longer entering politics after his drinking and drug problems.
Of course, this is a big compliment to Gamescom, so the Guard forget for a moment that there are elections next month by chance and that Merkel could use the votes of German gamers well. Hopefully this sets a trend and next year’s E3 will be opened by President Pence.
25 years of Kirby games
An awful lot of Kirby games have been released in the past 25 years and that should be celebrated. Check out a compilation video of all the adventures the pink blob has had here!
Is the first Ni no Kuni coming to PC?
Final Fantasy XV on Switch is already a lot, but Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for PC? H**l yeah this is wanted! Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino was interviewed by PC Gamer about the second part, which has been announced for PC. When asked whether the first part will also come to PC, the Japanese responded as follows:
“I’ll leave that up to your imagination for now, but stay tuned for more official announcements. I’ll leave it at that. ”
A standard derivation of the question, but one with the promise that something (similar) might be on the horizon. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was released exclusively on PS3 in the west. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be released January 19th for PS4 and PC.
Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition in the wild
In products-that-Nintendo-advertises-but-are-long-goddamn-sold-out-news, the Legacy Edition of Metroid: Samus Returns can also be admired at Gamescom. Check out all the swag you get with the 3DS game in this video.
Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back release date is October 31
October 31st is the day! The beginning of the end of your life. Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will then be released for PS4, Steam and GOG. A physical Special Edition has also been announced with soundtrack, business card and postcard called the Purrfect Edition. I … don’t have any reaction for that.
Meet the Machine Tribe in Shadow of War
A new Shadow of War trailer is always good. This time the Machine Tribe is revealed: a tribe of orcs that can build machines and war machines like no other. Wait a minute, are those flamethrowers? They had come in handy when they attacked Minas Tirith! Well, hopefully the game will explain how. For now, I think they didn’t show up due to a strike. The collective labor agreements in Mordor must be quite austere …
Laugh at Lawbreakers
Lawbreakers turns out not to be the Overwatch killer that Cliff Bleszinski was hoping for. This is partly due to the over-saturated market of online multiplayer shooters, but according to this compilation video, the marketing also had a high cringing factor. That and we game journalists cannot resist comparing every game with Overwatch or Dark Souls these days. Anyway, this video is definitely the Dark Souls of Lawbreakers videos. Rock hard but also very satisfying!
Wassum again. Happy Gamescom everyone!
