There’s another big Warframe content update on PS4
Free-to-play title Warframe is getting another big content update on PlayStation 4, bringing new frames, missions, locations, and game modes to the ever-expanding table. At this point, the version has been tweaked and built up quite extensively, making the hybrid of stealth and sci-fi shooter more and more worth downloading.
Dubbed the Sanctuary update, the new patch is aided by Chroma, a new framework that tries to manipulate elements. Sounds like a customizable character, too, since depending on what color energy you have equipped, your powers will change.
Meanwhile, a new game mode called Cephalon Capture will bring more variety to the title’s competitive offering. It will provide a selection of specific Warframes to use, along with a limited arsenal, and tasks for players to capture the flag challenge.
Next up, Sanctuary is an area where you’ll be able to build up a database on the game’s lore by searching for rare targets, and a new quest called The New Strange will award you the aforementioned Chroma frame if you manage to complete it.
