The OnePlus 2 will arrive with a Snapdragon 810 and will be around 400 dollars
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has revealed, or rather confirmed, that the successor to the current OnePlus One will arrive with Qualcomm’s most powerful processor today, the Snapdragon 810. They will also ditch Cyanogen as a vendor for their operating system (both companies have ended their relationship) and make use of their own Android fork called Oxygen OS.
He has also commented that the price of this OnePlus Two (although the name has not been confirmed) will be around 400 dollars possibly and, although it has not revealed the release date, the latest rumors point to early this summer.
At the current exchange rate, those 400 dollars would mean about 350 eurosbut given the variations in the dollar-euro conversion in recent weeks, we do not dare to bet on a specific figure for its price in Europe either.
