The complete design of the new Galaxy Watch 5, the reference smartwatch on Android, is filtered | Technology
It is Samsung’s great smart watch for this end of the year and now, in the middle of summer, its design has been completely leaked. For those who wanted a revolution, we are sorry to tell you that Samsung has preferred to be conservative.
If you like smart watches, the Galaxy Watch 4 has surely been one of the candidates to end up on your wrist in recent months. Nice build, improved tracking, and lots of apps. We liked it a lot.
For this reason, the expectation with a new Samsung smartwatch is great, not only because it is the best candidate in the Android world, but also because Apple’s Watch Series 7 this year stayed behind the barrier, it did not risk.
And after a lot of eagerness here it is: the Galaxy Watch 5. Well-known leaker Evan Blass has had access to the new Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro designs, so we can already say a few things about it.
Above these lines you can see the more expensive and formal variant known as the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. And yes, it does look a lot like the classic variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 from last year. This model will be offered in black or titanium gray. And it will be with LTE or without LTE, in case you want an independent connection.
On the other hand, we have the normal Watch 5, which looks a lot like the Galaxy Watch 4 or the Galaxy Watch Active that was very popular in its day. This model also comes only with LTE or Bluetooth and will be available in two case sizes and more color options as well.
Both options will run Wear OS 3.5 on top of One UI Watch 4.5. Evan Blass has mentioned that, in addition to these watches, very soon we will also have in our hands the Galaxy Buds Pro and, of course, the folding devices of the Fold family.
As you can see in the shared images, Samsung has not wanted to take risks with the designs, the two models being fully recognizable, in the Samsung line that it has been taking care of for so many years. They are a hallmark of the company, although a change every generation would not be bad.
