Spotify launches group sessions for Premium users
Spotify turns out to be undoubtedly the most famous music streaming service in the world. Although competing houses try to reach its numbers, it continues to outperform them. In the past few hours, we have heard of the arrival of a very interesting feature reserved for Premium customers. We are talking about group sessions. Here’s what they consist of.
From now on Spotify Premium users will be able to listen to songs together with other people thanks to the arrival of an exclusive new function, group sessions. The feature is currently in beta and will evolve based on user feedback. Let’s find out how it works together.
Spotify: This is how group sessions work
Creating a group session on Spotify is easier than ever. All you have to do is go to the app, in the dedicated section, and generate a code. The latter can be scanned by various users in order to participate in the group session. Everyone has the ability to change song, pause it, etc. The session ends automatically after 1 hour of inactivity. At the moment, there appears to be no limit to the number of participants in a single session, however, this feature may change in the future.
As already mentioned at the beginning of the article, this is a function in a beta state. Spotify will use the feedback from various premium users to make the necessary changes and make it more enjoyable. Well what to say, for sure one thing that all subscribers will appreciate. Look forward to any updates in this regard.
