Samsung Galaxy S9: among the technical specifications there will also be a 3D camera
Pending the arrival on the market of the new one iPhone X Apple, Samsung is already working on the future top of the range, the Samsung Galaxy S9 which, most likely, will also be made in a Plus variant. Among the main innovations that the Korean house will introduce on its future flagship there will also be a 3D front camera for facial recognition.
The Samsung Galaxy S8, as well as the more recent Note 8, can already count on a face recognition system which however presents several problems, both in terms of security and access speed. Samsung is therefore working on a new system capable of exploiting 3D sensorssimilar to what happens on the iPhone X, to speed up the operation of the face scanner while maximizing safety.
The problems associated with the development of a 3D camera capable of guaranteeing a better facial recognition system are manifold.
