Samsung Galaxy S8: Some users report a problem with the color balance of the display
The first units of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + are being distributed and the first reports of possible hardware defects that would afflict some specimens of the new top of the range begin to emerge immediately on the net.
In particular, from South Korea, there are reports about some displays of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 that have an unusual reddish hue, easily found if you place side by side more units of the top of the range as in the image below.
Samsung has stated that this is not a factory defect and that the display colors of its new Samsung Galaxy S8 and 8+ can be easily calibrated using the appropriate section of the Settings menu on the terminals.
According to some testimonies, in any case, color calibration would not be able to solve the situation which, although limited for now to a small number of terminals, could represent a first alarm bell for the Korean company.
The Super AMOLED display represents, in fact, one of the main strengths of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ and has already been judged by the specialized press as the best display used on a smartphone.
This defect in the color rendering of some terminals could represent a significant annoyance for users. In any case, to get a more complete idea of the situation it will be necessary to wait for the full international distribution of the new top of the Korean range which will start in the next few days.
In fact, shipments of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 + will begin very soon, pre-ordered by users in recent days. Smartphones will arrive, in a complete way, in stores starting next week.
