PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim an exclusive pack of Fortnite tools and skins

PlayStation is releasing another exclusive Fortnite skin and harvesting tool pack that PS Plus members can claim for free right now.

Another Fortnite PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack has been released, bringing a quite different skin and pickaxe to previous iterations of the promo. This pack includes a new skin and harvesting tool, which are the Sultara outfit and the Cymitar pickaxe. Sultara is a departure from previous PS Plus skins, this one is quite sleek and futuristic, it has a hooded, masked figure in some sort of suit with an overall blue and black color scheme. As for the Cymitar Pickaxe, it is a similarly futuristic-looking sword with a curved hilt and long blue blade.

Do you want to play the team on PS4 before launch?

Players who want to redeem this pack have several ways to do so. First of all, they need to be PS Plus subscribers, and with some great deals going on right now, there’s no better time to become a member. Next, either on the PlayStation Store from console or online, simply navigate to the Fortnite store page, and on “Accessories” there will be the free download of the PS Plus Celebration Pack. With a couple of these celebration packs a year, fans will likely only have a few months to go ahead and claim this pack.

In addition to the frequent game-specific perks like the Celebration Pack, PS Plus members also get plenty of other benefits, even more so if they play on PS5. For starters, they get the PS Plus Collection, a free library of some of the best games of the last generation, including Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, God of War, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The main draw for many is the monthly free games, and this year’s PS Plus is estimated to be worth more than $1,000.

January PlayStation Plus free games include inFAMOUS: First Light on PS4 and more

Fortnite is free to play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
