PlayStation 5, the console’s user interface revealed in a first video

As anticipated through a bizarre Burger King video, Sony today unveiled on the official PlayStation blog the new user interface (UX) which will accompany players on PlayStation 5. Now there is only a month left to launch the console, and times are hot to offer the public a first glimpse of the new PS5 dashboard. According to Sony the new UX will guarantee an experience strongly anchored to the user with a series of essential tools usable in real time and totally intuitive.

A new gaming experience with PlayStation 5

We start from the new Control Center, from here we can access all the most important functions by pressing the PlayStation button placed on the DualSense controller, all without ever leaving our game. Sony also introduced the new Activities, essentially an expanded and modernized version of the classic Trofei. These are displayed through convenient tabs in the Control Center and allow you to find out what we have missed, jump directly to a level or to a challenge where we have to unlock the round objectiveand much more.

Some cards can be put into picture mode and pinned to the screen so as to always have them within reach while we play in real time. We can even see gods official video guides depending on the game to unlock certain achievements, all in real time. Navigating the interface, switching between games and playing online are also all smoother as Sony engineers have rebuilt the entire console software stack to the network. We remind you that PlayStation 5 is scheduled for November 19 in standard version with optical reader and a “digital-only” version without reader.
