PELDA: Kickstarter for improvements to the Switch more than twice achieved its goal

Gaming peripheral manufacturer AMDISI has started a Kickstarter to make a better dock for your Nintendo Switch. A few days later, the company has already raised twice as much money as they need.

The Nintendo Switch is quite a funny device, but here and there it has flaws. The battery life is quite short, the device does not feel sturdy enough in the hand and there is no HDMI on the Switch itself. The company AMDISI will briefly address all these problems.

Their PELDA, as AMDISI so nicely calls it, should improve your battery life by six hours. If you put a little extra for the PELDA PRO, you also get an HDMI port directly in your Switch screen, so that you can play on the TV without a dock. This will reduce the battery life a bit to an extra 4.5 hours. There are also two inputs for game cartridges, so you can switch between two games … er, Switch.

The Switch screen should be ready in December, after which it can be shipped in January. You get a PELDA if you support the Kickstarter with $ 45. If you wait for the product to go on sale normally, it will likely cost $ 89. The same story for the PELDA PRO, which will cost you $ 95 now, will end up costing $ 139.

Finally, AMDISI also has a new dock that they will bring to the market. The dock will cost you $ 69 with the Kickstarter. If you buy it later, you have to put down $ 89. The thing has two USB 3.0 inputs, charges your PELDA faster and does not molt it, but this is still a very high price for a piece of plastic. Vague …

The Kickstarter will remain live for 27 days, so if you’re interested, you still have some time. Unless Nintendo puts a stop to this, because that chance is certainly present. This PELDA is, after all, quite a, um … dubious product.
