PC will teach first aid courses – El Despertar

H. Zitacuaro, Michoacan. – With the aim of continuing to safeguard and protect people’s lives, the state Civil Protection delegation in this city will carry out a first aid course, which will last a month and a half and will focus on the training of civilian personnel.
In an interview for El Despertar, Jesús Antonio Serrano Miralrío, responsible for the training area of the aforementioned institution, called on the public to come closer and learn what to do in the event of an injury, hemorrhage, sudden fainting of a person , musculoskeletal injury. The course is theoretical and practical, it will be face-to-face and free.
Miralrío pointed out that it is important to be interested and attend all the sessions, at the end they will be awarded a certificate by the State Coordination of Civil Protection.
The official indicated that people over 17 years of age will be able to attend the training sessions, which will be held on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to accrediting the subjects that are studied in said course, a registration must be filled out via whats app, where people will be selected, since the quota is limited.
He stressed that they should come with comfortable clothes, flat and warm shoes. She also carries a notebook. The manuals will be delivered in digital format. At the same time, she reported that they continue to monitor jointly with the municipalities and no relevant situation has arisen.
The course will be aimed at the general public (who wants to learn). The requirements are: be at least 17 years old, schedule availability and qualify to have the necessary skills.
Some of the topics that will be covered in the course: history and vital signs, assessment, wounds and hemorrhages; burns and bandages, musculoskeletal injuries and casualty mobilization; basic life support, introduction to prehospital topics; intravenous and muscular access, practices in emergency vehicles, military discipline.
