The Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters of Jojutla reported that it maintains a review of the areas of greatest risk of a flood in the municipality where the unblocking of storm drainage strainers has been carried out to allow the passage of water.

Miguel Ángel Olvera Torres, director of PC and Firefighters, assured that as a result of the rain this afternoon there are no reports of major damage, there are only stagnation in some streets where at this point it is already flowing correctly, when cleaning in the strainers. .

In the case of the level of the rivers that cross the municipality, they are within normal limits, without greater risk, however, monitoring is maintained in the event of any increase due to rains in the northern zone.

Likewise, it reported that a tour of the channel of the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood was carried out without any news of its flooding or overflow.

During the inspection tour, drains with garbage were uncovered in the main streets of the municipal seat as well as in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, in order to guarantee the flow of water and eliminate puddles.

Similarly, in coordination with Public Services and the CFE, they attended to the blackout on Lázaro Cárdenas Boulevard.
