THE Panasonic B210W are the new true wireless earphones from Panasonic, on sale at a generally accessible price, is less than 100 euros, ready to guarantee more than interesting performances for most users. Let’s see them closely in ours review complete.
Aesthetics and Design
The case is entirely made of plastic, in our case of coloring matte black, which does not get dirty easily, nor holds fingerprints too much. The materials used appear to be of good quality, it is not weak or too soft, with a well-made clip opening / closing mechanism without creaking. The dimensions are in line with expectations, reaching 62.2 x 46.2 x 27.4 mm, with a weight of 48 grams. On the surface there are no physical buttons, we only find the USB type-C connector for charging, and the front status LEDs.
The headphones are positioned vertically inside, with a solid, reliable and quick-grip magnetic coupling. The release can also be done with one hand, by overturning the case, they do not come out. The earphones are completely in-ear, but not too invasive, this means that they will not excessively occlude the ear canal; ergonomics is overall Greatthey are positioned very well in the pavilion, they are not suitable for sports use, but for various walks and movements, we have never risked losing them. The insulation is also excellent passivethe grommet is large enough to act almost as a stopper preventing environmental noises from penetrating inside.
Dimensionally the Panasonic B210Ws are average, reaching 22 x 31.8 x 26.1mm, with a weight of 5 grams one, a discreet lightness that allows the use, thanks also to a satisfactory ergonomics, to wear them for long periods, without too many problems. On their surface there is the area of sensitivity, useful for sending commands and controlling all playback; the operation is adequate, although he personally has never liked solutions of this type, the inputs are received very well, and the combinations are not complex.
Hardware and Performance
Panasonic B210W earphones are compatible with any device with connectivity bluetooth 5.0, support SBC and AAC codecs, as well as HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles. When using for streaming video, we did not notice any latency or delay in transmission, although they are not compatible with the aptX codecs.
The driver and from 10 millimeters, with a maximum volume more than sufficient for use even in particularly noisy environments; the advice is never to push them to the extreme, as they tend to distort the higher frequencies. These are the most sacrificed even in the audio reproduction, the female voices screech in the treble, and they are not exactly spotless. The whole reproduction is dominated by the intermediate rangewith a fair propensity towards i bassquite present (within the technical limits of products of this type), but not particularly dynamic. Overall, the audio performance, considering the cost of just under 80 euros, we can consider it more than adequate.
The Panasonic B210W are certified earphones IPX4therefore resistant to sweat and splashes of water, as well as having an excellent battery, perfect for above average autonomy. By exploiting the cycles guaranteed by the case, in fact, it will be possible to reach up to 20 hours playback, with the individual headphones ready to guarantee 4 hours of continuous use. There is no fast chargingto fully charge the earphones via the case, it will take a little more than 2 hours (no wireless charging, they must always be connected by cable).
Calls are handled very well in all conditions, both indoors and outdoors with significant ambient noise, without capturing too much sound that surrounds us, managing to reduce it more than other models of the same range. The quality of the microphones it is undoubted, the voice never appeared metallic or distorted, almost in high definition.
Panasonic B210W: conclusions
In conclusion, if you are looking for truly comfortable, stylish and decent performing true wireless earphones, then the i Panasonic B210W are definitely for you. The audio performance met our expectations, especially for the medium and low frequencies, with a satisfactory maximum volume; the passive isolation is perfect for use even in the open air, although we felt the absence of an active cancellation, possibly present on models in the same price range. Finally, ergonomics are also excellent, they do not cause too much discomfort or obstruct the ear canal.
On the other side of the coin, the frequencies high they were not satisfactory, the sounds appeared too distorted and strident, especially as the volume increased. THE touch controls they are discreet, but fail to capture, precisely because they could be elusive, for example in mobile access during a walk, and the absence of a tactile feed makes combinations more difficult to perform.
