Nintendo is bringing Hitman 3 and Control to the Switch via cloud gaming

Nintendo is bringing two graphically complex games to the Switch. How? Via cloud gaming?

Nintendo is bringing cloud versions of Control Ultimate Edition and Hitman 3 to Nintendo Switch.

Control is now available on Nintendo eShop and, like Hitman 3, is free to test “for a limited time”. Nintendo says the trailers below are representative of the visual quality, but it depends on the connection quality.

It is the first time that Nintendo has released cloud versions of third-party games outside of Japan, including Resident Evil 7. Nintendo reports in a press release that a Nintendo account is required to play the game.

It is not yet known when Hitman 3 will appear for the Nintendo Switch.
