Steps to update iPhone
1. Backup your iPhone
This step is important since an unforeseen event can happen while the update is running and it is best to have a backup of all your data so that you can recover it without problems.
2. Go to Settings and then go to the General section
In the General section you will find the option ‘Software update’.

If your device is up to date, the message ‘iOS is up to date’ will appear on the screen, followed by the type of update you have (in the photo, for example, iOS 15.5 appears). If your phone needs to be updated, you will get the option to “download and update iOS”.
This last option usually appears in gray tones. This may mean that your device does not have enough space to download the update. In this case, you should free up space on the iPhone by freeing and uninstalling all the apps you don’t use.
Apple has the option to update iOS automatically. To activate this option you must go to Settings, General section and then Software update. There you will have to activate the two options: Download iOS updates and Install iOS updates.
If you enable these options, your device will usually update during the early hours of the morning.
Of course, remember that to carry out the updates your iPhone must be connected to a Wi-Fi network and to the current.
