Microsoft Flight Simulator: Ever Given ship is still stuck in the Suez Canal

The huge container ship Ever Given captivated the world after blocking the Suez Canal in Egypt for more than a week, now the irreverent incident will live forever in Microsoft Flight Simulator. In the past few days, the community has released several third-party mods to highlight Ever Given’s previously precarious position.

These add-ons range from the simple block of the Suez Canal to a realistic model of the ship to the repetition of the traffic jam caused by his grounding on the shipping route. While it might be a bit difficult to appreciate the size of the Ever Given from photos alone, these Microsoft Flight Simulator mods allow players to get up close and personal with this historic event.

Microsoft will update to Windows 10 also users with pirated Windows 7 and Windows 8

A new way to observe the world directly from home

Those who do not own the game can take a look at the reproduction of the incident in the Suez Canal through various videos published on the net like the one you find above. In the video shown in this article the spectator is housed inside the cockpit of a helicopter as he flies over the Ever Given ship showing the ship and the incident in details that most of us are unable to observe in the real world.

This is probably the real beauty of Microsoft Flight Simulator: offering gamers the opportunity to travel to a fairly faithful version of our planet comfortably from their homes. Obviously world events like this must be added by the users themselves, but as long as the community remains active there will never be any reproductions of historical incidents such as the Ever Given one.
