Malware on iPhones is a problem and the new feature of iOS 16 wants to alleviate this situation | Technology
Apple has just released a new feature aimed at improving security on both its iPhone and iPad devices, as well as its computers.
Malware has become one of the main problems of mobile devices and, currently, we find a wide variety of them. In fact, they not only affect Android terminals and, for several years, they have also focused on devices that come from Cupertino.
In recent weeks we have seen how different types of malware have been appearing, including one that makes no distinctions and therefore attacks both Android and iPhone phones. This may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back for Apple and, now, the batteries have been put on protection.
The way Apple would have reacted would be by creating a new mode of use for its mobile devices. This mode would arrive with the new version of iOS that has not yet been stabilized. Yes, we are talking about iOS 16 and what would release Isolation Mode to protect yourself from any kind of attack.
This new mode would be a much greater source of protection than those we have seen so far, in fact, it would act quite drastically at the user level. And, it is that, Among the different measures that would be applied when activating this mode is the fact of restricting any type of file except images.
Also, when you connect iPhone to a Mac computer, it will not recognize the connection and it will be as if it is offline. The positive thing about the new Isolation Mode is that it will be available on several Apple devices and not only on iPhones. Among the different devices on which it will be available are the Mac and the iPad.
At the moment it has only been seen in operation in the iOS 16 beta and we will have to wait until the release of the stable version to test its operation and, above all, to know where the limits are in terms of the general blocking of functions and access that they can be dangerous.
