Major PS4 announcements to air at PlayStation Experience 2015

Sony has officially announced that PlayStation Experience, the convention dedicated to PlayStation fans, will return this December. Despite moving to San Francisco, the platform owner promises this year’s show will once again host tons of previously unreleased titles, while attendees will also secure front-row seats for the “biggest PlayStation announcements” and ” those patented PlayStation surprises that are already expected ”. We loved this event 12 months ago, so we are delighted to see it again.

There have been some changes. As noted above, it will now be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on December 5-6, instead of The Venetian in Las Vegas. It will also be cheaper than ever, as those who register before September 20 will be able to purchase two-day passes for just $ 60, which seems worth every penny. Slow coaches who sign up after the aforementioned deadline will be able to get two-day passes for $ 75, while one-day passes will cost $ 45 on Saturday and $ 40 on Sunday.

Sony “highly recommends” that you enter your PSN username when purchasing tickets, for reasons that “will make sense in December”

Tickets are now on sale so you should book before they run out as we suspect it is going to be very popular now that it is an established event. Interestingly, the platform owner also notes that he “strongly recommends” that the PlayStation Network username be entered at the time of purchase, for reasons that apparently “will make sense in December.” Hmm, that’s interesting isn’t it? The manufacturer has even been kind enough to secure some discounted hotel rooms in case you need accommodation, and you can find that information on the PlayStation Blog.

In addition to all the action from PlayStation Experience, the Capcom Cup final will be held during the event, where 32 of the world’s best Street Fighter players will battle it out for a $ 250,000 prize pool. If you want front row seats for that, you can buy a Capcom Cup VIP pass, which for $ 75 will give you access to the final, as well as a goody bag and entry to the after party. It sounds like it’s going to be a bigger and better show than ever, so – we’re absolutely thrilled about this, and we can’t wait for the event to start rolling.
