LG G6: among the specifications also a dual 13 Megapixel rear camera
Just over a week after its official debut, which will be held on the sidelines of the opening of the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, the new LG G6 today is the protagonist of new revelations from LG itself. According to what is learned in these hours, in fact, the new LG G6 will be characterized by the presence of one dual rear camera consisting of two separate sensors, both 13 megapixels.
In addition to the traditional rear camera, the new LG G6 will also be able to count on a wide-angle sensor capable of guaranteeing truly unique shots. Compared to its predecessors LG G5 and LG V20, the new LG G6 will have a higher resolution wide-angle sensor (13 megapixels vs 8 megapixels) but with a slightly lower shooting angle (125 degrees vs 135 degrees). Also note that the new LG G6 will have a front camera equipped with a shooting angle of 100 degrees (on LG V20 it was 120 degrees). although at the moment no further details on the sensor are known.
The new LG G6 will focus a lot on the photographic sector, on the ability to take shots of absolute quality, also thanks to the wide-angle sensor, and on video footage. The software customizations, linked to the app LG Camera pre-installed in the smartphone, they will be numerous and will allow users to get the most out of their photos, with many filters and sharing methods.
Pending further official details, we remind you that the new LG G6 will be able to count on an unprecedented 5.7-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels (equivalent to the classic QHD we have on 16: 9 displays). The display can count on a feature Always On, similar to that proposed by several smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy range.
The technical data sheet of the new LG G6 will also be completed with the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC (the same we find on Google’s Pixel and OnePlus 3T). As is known, in fact, the first units of Snapdragon 835 are an exclusive of Samsung and, therefore, to start the marketing of its top of the range already in March LG was forced to “fall back” on the still excellent 821.
