LG also bets on Chrome OS in an “all-in-one” PC
The first thing we will see when we have the LG 22CV241-W it’s a 21.5-inch display on an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with all the necessary hardware to run inside.
That hardware is made up of a processor Intel Celeron 2955U at 1.4 GHz with a TDP of only 15W and accompanied by 2 GB of RAM.
Once again we find one of the main shortcomings of most devices that integrate Chrome OS: its storage capacity. In this case we are talking about 16 GB, a really small amount that, luckily, we can expand on Google Drive, Google’s cloud storage system with up to 100GB, although that amount is only offered for free for 2 years.
For the rest, we have Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, WiFi n Bluetooth and 4 USB ports of which one is USB 3.0. It also has two 5W speakers.
Investigating its specifications, the existence of a small 160 mAH battery catches our attention, possibly to act as a UPS and protect against power cuts since with that capacity it may not be able to keep the system active.
Its recommended price is 299 Euros, without a doubt an attractive price for a device that can have its greatest gold mine in the educational sector or public places.
