Let it Out, the Icelandic site that makes us scream to get rid of stress
2020 has been so far a rather bad year for the world population. Between pandemics, natural disasters, climate change, insect invasions our mental health has been severely tested. Stress, tension and anger get tangled up in our bodies and all this malaise must be discharged somehow. And what better way except screaming. What if we told you that it is now possible to do it in Iceland without disturbing anyone and without even getting up from our desk? The new anti-stress solution is called Let it Out.
Let it Out, how Iceland’s new Scream Therapy works
Iceland is known to be ahead when it comes to fighting stress, but this time it’s not about hugging trees. Let it Out is a new website which allows users to record your screams from the comfort of your home through any PC microphone, and then play it through yellow amps positioned in the most deserted places in Iceland.
A Scream Therapy in short, the new idea of Iceland. The initiative was born precisely after a survey where it emerged that 42% of the interviewees they had accumulated so much stress due to Covid-19 restrictions to make them scream. So Icelandic tourism marketing has seen fit to launch a website for help people around the world to fight stress and the tension in this difficult time for anyone.
