HP announces a new Chromebook for educational environments


While Google’s chromebooks have had almost a marginal impact on the consumer market, they do have their niche in the education sector, and that’s where the companies that make these laptops with Chrome OS they are focusing.

HP just announced the HP Chromebook 11 G4 Education Edition, an 11-inch laptop with a thickness of 2 centimeters and 1.2 KG in weight that is capable of reaching 9 and a half hours of autonomy running Chrome OS on a modest Intel Celeron processor. The Chromebook 11 G4 EE meets military-grade MIL-STD testing to withstand use by little ones, withstanding drops from 70 cm without problems.

LTE connectivity can be added as an option as well as an IPS panel instead of the TN that comes standard in the more modest model. The price of the basic model will start at 199 dollars in the United Statescountry in which it will go on sale this month.
