How to activate two-step verification on WhatsApp

The WhatsApp scams who steal the profile are constantly increasing. Making your account as secure as possible is a move that allows you to be more comfortable with attacks of this type. You may not know, but there is a way to discourage profile stealing scams. How? Simple, using the two-step verification! Let’s find out together what it is.

Two-Step Verification adds an extra layer of security to the authentication process of your WhatsApp profile. When you change phone and you want to register your account on it, WhatsApp asks you to enter your phone number in order to receive an SMS with a 6-digit code that allows you to activate the account on the device. It is precisely by stealing this code that the bad guys are able to get hold of the WhatsApp profiles. Thanks to the two-step verification, on the other hand, in addition to this code, an additional one is requested (always with 6 digits) that only those who set it can know.
