Google: new version of AMP ready for devices with low RAM memory

The company said AMP Lite’s intelligent optimizations lead to another 40% reduction in the volume of data to manage in terms of images. Solutions that, in the first place, will be released where the incidence of top-of-the-range devices is lower, i.e. both in Vietnam and Malaysia, which will also be followed by other markets.
AMP was launched in late 2015, and is the open-source answer to the Facebook and Apple News platforms. It makes itself available on GitHub and can be used by anyone. It has hundreds and hundreds of compatible web publications, as well as several websites and social networks. The same company reports that using AMP pages increases page access by 4 times and uses 10 times less data than a non-AMP counterpart.
