Google is angered by Microsoft, a message to Edge users confirms it
Google he is not particularly fond of competition and can sometimes become slightly irritable. The last chapter of his exciting squabble with Microsoft is an example. In fact, in the last period the release of the new version of Microsoft Edge overshadowed the celebrated Chrome warming the spirits a little. The fact that Microsoft made a working browser has annoyed the IT giant a lot.
Microsoft on the other hand increased the dose teasing Google claiming that his browser apps are going to mess with Edge. Realizing, however, that Edge did not have many web extensions, the house of Redmond ran for cover recommending apps from the Chrome Web Store.
A browser war between Google and Microsoft
Now comes a new confirmation of the war between the two giants. Some users by logging into their Gmail accounts from a new device via the Edge browser they received a strange message e-mail. In fact, the message emphasized Google’s Chrome browser. “Get the most out of Windows 10 with the Chrome browser. Chrome is a fast, simple and secure browser built for the modern web. ” So the mail reports.
This means that Edge is it a slow, complicated and unsafe browser? If it is true that Google is doing some advertising, why has it not happened with other browsers such as Firefox? In short, for many users the competitiveness between Google and Microsoft it’s obvious. Edge isn’t specifically mentioned in the message, however the fact that it was only sent to Edge users, a pinch of rivalry is evident.
That Google is praising its Chrome for fear that Edge might outclass it? We don’t know this, but what we can say is that the browser war has just begun.
