Gmail: Dark Mode is finally available for all iOS users

A few weeks ago we told you about the start of the rollout, by Google, of the function Dark Mode of Gmail on iOS devices. Days later, the feature was finally made available to everyone thanks to the release of a new version. Let’s find out all the details about it.

Some Gmail users have been waiting for the arrival of dark mode on their iOS devices for weeks. Google has been working on this for a long time. The feature was made available, exclusively, months ago to a small number of users. This is for the simple purpose of carrying out various tests. The official rollout to all of Dark Mode started about 3 weeks ago and was completed just a few hours ago. Here’s how to turn on dark mode.

Gmail: finally the Dark Mode is available for everyone

In the past few hours, surprisingly, Google has released a new version of the Gmail app for iOS, the 6.0.200519. In the notes of the update we read that this finally brings into the field the Dark Mode for all users. All you have to do is download the update and finally try the new theme. This can be activated manually within the application settings or, alternatively, you can also set it in sync with the iOS 13 operating system. Obviously, in order to take advantage of the feature, your device must have iOS 13 installed.

In case you have chosen to synchronize the feature with the operating system, the dark / light mode of the app will change along with that of the system. Look forward to any updates in this regard.
