Gigabyte launches a Radeon HD 7750 with 2 GB of RAM

The GV-R775D3-2GI is the model based on the AMD HD 7750 chip that Gigabyte has just introduced with no more and no less than 2 Gb of RAM, a clearly excessive amount for a mid-low range model. However, the practice of placing an oversized amount of memory in graphics cards of these ranges has been a common practice for many years by numerous assemblers, more for marketing reasons than for improving performance.

The graphics card features HDMI, one VGA, and two DVI outputs and is cooled by a custom gigabyte central fan system. This Gigabyte model doubles the amount of GDDR3 memory of the reference model, with speeds of 850 MHz for the core (with factory OC) and 1600 MHz for the 2 GB of memory and all for a price of about 100 dollars .
