Final Fantasy VII Remake’s Butterfinger promo sounds like a headache.
The promotion of Final Fantasy VII Remake of Butterfinger is becoming a nightmare for fans of Square Enix’s legendary role-playing game. As recently explained, players have been encouraged to collect two or more candy bars and share a photo of their receipt in exchange for in-game rewards and a nifty-looking Tifa dynamic theme.
Unfortunately, the process sounds like a mess. There are dozens of reports of organizer PrizeLogic rejecting legitimate claims across the web, while others have received blanks instead of redeemable PlayStation Store codes. Despite the confusion, PrizeLogic has yet to comment on what has been going on behind the scenes.
We’ll try to get a little more information from the organization and will update this article once we know more. The promotion will last until May 14, so there’s plenty of time to get things in order. In the meantime, enjoy your chocolate, a nutritious Baby Ruth bar isn’t the worst punishment in the world, is it?
