Final Fantasy VII Remake Moving Along More Than Expected

Final Fantasy VII Remake Moving Along More Than Expected

Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced just three years ago, but there was good news for fans at E3 2018: the game is currently in development. And chatting with Weekly Famitsu – with translations via Gematsu – director Tetsuya Nomura has revealed that development is “going further than expected”. They have finished modeling the handle of Cloud’s famous Buster Sword.

Those of you who have been closely following this project will know that Square Enix recently took control of the project, but had decided on the direction of the long-awaited remake before making that decision. “While preserving the atmosphere of the original, the setting will delve deeper into the characters, including the members of Avalanche,” Nomura said.
