BOCA CHICA, Texas.- A spacex rocket exploded on the launch pad during testing of a prototype reported by Elon Musk, owner of the company, via Twitter.

The explosion occurred last Monday night at the Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas, and Musk acknowledged that “that’s not good.”

Shortly after, he reported that he had just “been in the propulsion section. Damage appears to be minor, but we need to inspect all engines. It is better to do this in the high bay.”
