E3 2019: The first Final Fantasy VII Remake game takes place in Midgar Alone

Square Enix has confirmed that the Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be divided into parts. However, the publisher was quick to point out that each installment will be the size of a full game. The first title, simply called Final Fantasy VII Remake, which will be released on March 3, 2020, will take place only in Midgar. That’s the big city from the beginning of the game, for those who are totally out of the game.

That said, Square Enix says that Midgar is bigger than ever. He’s going to go far deeper than the original Final Fantasy VII did. Expect more character interactions and stories.
