Cebit 2009: MSI Attacks MacBook Air with X Series

Again, 16:9 ratio screens and a combination of entry-level processors such as the Atom and proven performance processors such as the ultra-low-voltage Core 2 Duo. The most interesting thing about these models is that they have a maximum thickness of no more than 2cm and a weight close to 1.5Kg (direct competition from the Macbook Air).

The prices will also be friendly, not only its aesthetics, since the most powerful model will not exceed €900 retail price. The availability in our borders will be found there in the month of April and for the moment the available colors are black and white.

Although we have not received official confirmation, we can almost assure you that the ultra-low voltage Core 2 processor used in this computer is the same one used in Apple’s lightweight computer.

The new models are summarized in X340 for the 13″ screen and X600 for the model with a 16″ screen.
