One of the most vital and common applications is to read any type of content, whether current, useful or simply because it is interesting. The problem of reading on the cell phone
Browsing one or another article on the web, in social media or even in applications, has become one of the most common activities among the millions of smartphone users in the world. What’s more, many people tend to spend more time searching for articles of interest and saving them as they can than reading them themselves, and that can become a problem if we end up with many lists in which there is no order or how to start.
Another point against it is that, as each application, social network or platform in general can have its own way of saving content, most of us can get confused by trusting one and then end up using another. For this, this Android trick is quite beneficial, since it allows us to maintain order among all the avalanche of information that we receive on a daily basis and that is undoubtedly of our interest.
How to read later and offline
The best solution that Google Android systems have found for this problem is definitely the ‘read later’ feature. This has just been updated for Chrome and here we will show you the steps to take advantage of it:
- When you have a page that you want to save for later, the first thing you need to do is make sure you see its link.
- When you’ve done that, just hold it down, until the Add to Reading List option appears
- Another way to do this is to open the website and then navigate to Menu and tap Add to Reading List.
Almost all content on the internet has a link that is hosted on the web, even if it is on a social network like Facebook or Instagram. To save this content you just have to look for the copy link options in each of these apps or platforms and then navigate to them using Chromium. From there, you can add them to your list and never lose them again.
