Amazon: Super Mario Bros. could be the theme of the new boxes
Good news for those who love to collect the famous Amazon boxes and for Super Mario fans. The retail giant is apparently shipping some packages in special limited edition Mario-themed boxes. This is part of a new partnership between the same Amazon and Nintendo, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Nintendo has already celebrated the anniversary. with the release of games like Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Super Mario 35 and the upcoming Super Mario 3D World and Bowser’s Fury, and now Amazon is getting into the fun too.
The legendary Super Mario Bros. could be snapped up again
Nintendo itself has specified that the supply of these boxes is limited and will be assigned randomly, therefore buying a Nintendo product will not increase your chances of getting one. The company did not immediately respond to a request for clarification on the exact quantity of Mario’s boxes it intends to use, thus fueling the curiosity of potential buyers. Amazon then launched a landing page dedicated to Mario, which reports the history of the franchise, some curiosities and the titles of the most recent games in the series, in addition to the various spin-offs, available for purchase.
Nintendo has launched several releases on the occasion of Mario’s anniversary, including Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, a mixed reality game in which players use a smartphone to drive real radio controlled cars around the house. In addition, the company is about to release a Game & Watch handheld console that will come with the original Super Mario Bros. game.
These combined launches are a great way to gain multiple sales and divert attention from upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X releases. Both consoles are expected to come out next week, just in time to ease the stress of collective elections.
