ACER continues to support Chrome OS with the new Chromebox CXI
Acer has released two new Chromebox under the CXI Series family intended for educational environments and even some businesses or homes where Google’s “Chrome OS” cloud-based operating system is sufficient. In addition, its compact size allows it to be attached to the back of the monitor.
On this occasion, both models hide inside an Intel Celeron 2957U processor with Haswell architecture and from the low-voltage range that ensures high energy efficiency together with its integrated graphics. To accompany you we find from 2 to 4 GB of DDR3 memory at 1600 MHZ.
Curiously, the company does not offer the data related to its storage capacity, although we know that they have an SD slot with support for cards of up to only 32 GB, the internal memory is possibly around 16 or 32 GB, this being the capacity more common to Chrome OS devices.
Its price starts from 180 dollars for the 2 GB RAM model and reaches 220 dollars if we choose the model with double the memory, although at the moment they are only available in the United States.
