256 Mb of RAM in the new FireGL X2-256t from ATI

Designed for professionals who need great video quality and speed or for gamers looking for the most they can get, ATI has released the new version of its FireGL X2-256, the ATI FireGL X2-256t (turbo.)

This new card, which has been certified by the most renowned digital design companies such as 3dsmax, Maya, Softimage XSI, Microstation or SolidWorks, is prepared to handle the most advanced programs based on DirectX 9 or OpenGL.

In addition, and thanks to its 256 Mb of RAM memory, four geometry engines and eight parallel pipelines, it offers up to 25 percent more performance than its predecessor.

The model, which has dual DVI-I output, will go on sale later this month at a price of $899.
